2. Collection and Storage of Personal Data

When you visit this website, the following data is processed:

  • Technical Server Logs: To ensure the stability and security of the website, the hosting provider (Vercel) automatically processes information that your browser transmits. This can include your IP address, browser type, operating system, referrer URL, and the time of the request.
  • Vercel Analytics: I use Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages are visited. Vercel states that it does not use third-party cookies or collect personal identifiers that track visitors across different websites.
  • Contact Form: If you use the contact form, I process the email address and message you submit so I can respond to your inquiry.

The processing of data on this website is based on:

  • Legitimate Interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR): To provide a functional, secure, and stable website, and to understand how my content is consumed in an anonymized way.
  • Contact Inquiries (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR): To respond to inquiries and, where applicable, take steps before entering into a contract.

4. Hosting and Third-Party Providers

I have entered into a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with my hosting provider:

  • Vercel (Hosting and Analytics): This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. Vercel may process data in the United States and other countries. Vercel states that it participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and uses other appropriate transfer mechanisms where required.
  • Discord (Contact Form Delivery): Contact form submissions are sent to a private Discord channel through a webhook. Discord states that data may be processed in the United States and other countries and that it uses safeguards including standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions, and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. 5. Storage Duration

  • Server Logs: Vercel retains runtime logs according to the limits of the account plan and service configuration.
  • Contact Data: If you contact me by email or through the contact form, your data will be stored only as long as necessary to process your inquiry.

6. Cookies

This website is designed to be as “lean” as possible. I do not use marketing or tracking cookies.

7. Your Rights

As a data subject, you have the following rights under the GDPR:

  • Right to Access (Art. 15): Request information about your data stored by me.
  • Right to Rectification (Art. 16): Correct inaccurate data.
  • Right to Erasure (Art. 17): Request the deletion of your data.
