The problem
Sharing a collection of profiles and contact details should not require a full website builder. Most people need one memorable address and control over what appears there.
The product
helllo.me gives each user a personal subdomain and a compact, customizable card. It is designed to be quick to set up, easy to share, and useful in both public and private contexts.
- Unique Subdomains: Users can claim their own personalized URL (e.g.,
you.helllo.me) to build their brand. - Interactive Design: A sleek, glassmorphic card interface.
- Analytics Dashboard: Real-time insights into card views, link clicks, and traffic referrers.
- QR Code Generation: Instantly generate QR codes for seamless sharing.
- Privacy First: Fine-grained control over card visibility and private sharing options.
Technical decisions
The product combines a server-rendered web application with authentication, storage, analytics, and a dashboard for managing multiple cards.
- Next.js and TypeScript provide the application foundation.
- Supabase handles the database and file storage.
- Better Auth supports magic links and Google OAuth.
- Drizzle ORM keeps database queries and migrations type-safe.
- Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui support a consistent, accessible interface.
My role
I started helllo.me in November 2025 and built it independently, from the product concept and interface to the dashboard, analytics, authentication, and deployment.
